Finding the right youth sports program on Long Island shouldn't be a full-time job. Between the 97 LIJSL soccer clubs, hundreds of Little League chapters, dozens of elite lacrosse travel programs, and countless private coaches and summer camps — the information is scattered, outdated, or buried in Facebook groups.
We built YouthSportsConnect to fix that. One place where every Long Island sports family can find leagues, clubs, academies, coaches, facilities, and summer camps — searchable by sport, level, and type, with real contact information and direct links.
Every listing is free. We don't charge families to search, and we don't charge organizations to be listed. Our goal is to make youth sports more accessible to every family across Nassau and Suffolk County.
We currently cover three core youth sports on Long Island, with more sports and regions on the way.
Each sport page includes a full directory of programs with type filters (leagues, teams, academies, coaches, facilities, summer camps), contact information, social media links, and an AI-generated summary for every listing.
We cover programs from recreational entry-level programs all the way through elite nationally competitive clubs — because Long Island youth sports serves every kind of family.
YouthSportsConnect was built by parents of kids playing youth sports on Long Island who wanted a better way to find programs, compare options, and connect with leagues and coaches. One simple idea: local directories that actually serve their communities.
We started with Long Island because it's home — and because Long Island has one of the richest youth sports ecosystems in the country. 60,000+ youth soccer players across 97 LIJSL clubs. One of the highest concentrations of D1 lacrosse commits per capita in the US. A baseball culture that has produced professional players for generations. That community deserves a great resource.
Our plan is to expand to other sports and other regions — but we're doing Long Island right first. Every listing is verified, every page is built for parents actually searching for programs, and the directory grows every week.
Parents never pay to use the directory. Organizations never pay to be listed. Our basic directory is and always will be free.
We earn money through featured listing upgrades, affiliate links (like Amazon gear recommendations), and local sponsorships. We disclose all of this clearly.
Paid featured placements are clearly marked. Affiliate relationships don't affect how organizations are described or ranked in the directory.
Coaches, leagues, and families can submit listings directly. We review every submission before it goes live to maintain accuracy.
